Frequently Asked Questions
Is Triad a good fit for me?
Triad may be a good fit if you are an adult (18+) living in Massachusetts and are seeking trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy. We work with adults experiencing PTSD, anxiety, depression, emotional sensitivity, relationship challenges, and life transitions. We offer LGBTQ+ affirming and culturally responsive care.
All services are provided via secure online therapy, and treatment is tailored to your goals, strengths, and lived experience.
What should I expect in therapy?
Therapy begins with a comprehensive intake, where your therapist learns about your concerns, history, and goals. From there, you and your therapist will collaborate on a treatment plan using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches. Your therapist will regularly check in on your progress and adjust treatment to ensure that therapy remains supportive, effective, and aligned with your goals.
How do I pay for therapy?
We currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) insurance and it’s affiliates for clients located in Massachusetts. We also accept self-pay and payment can be made by credit or debit card.
How do I know therapy is helping me?
Progress in therapy may show up as improvements in your mood, relationships, work, or overall sense of well-being. We use evidence-based clinical measures at regular intervals to track symptom changes and ensure treatment is effective over time.
What if I need a higher level of care?
If at any point outpatient therapy is not the right level of support, your therapist will help coordinate referrals to a higher level of care, such as partial hospitalization or inpatient programs. We will assist with paperwork and transition planning and welcome you back to outpatient therapy when appropriate.
Do you offer a waitlist?
Yes. If we are at capacity, we offer a waitlist for adult therapy services in Massachusetts. Please contact us for current availability and estimated wait times. We currently have immediate openings.
