Job Description
Triad psychotherapy is an up and coming group practice committed to helping individuals across their lifespan heal from the past, learn skills to manage their emotions, and live the life they desire. In this fast-paced teletherapy working environment, new employees have the opportunity to gain invaluable training and experience with a culturally responsive and evidence based treatment approach.
The Triad Psychotherapy Psychologist will work closely with the owners of the practice to learn the culturally responsive evidence based approach to care to help adult clients in need of both individual and group evidence-based psychotherapy services.
We are looking for a Doctoral-level Psychologist with experience in the following areas:
Working with LGBTQ+ populations
Working with trauma-exposed populations
Passion for gaining experience with diverse populations
Currently licensed or license-eligible (i.e., completed doctoral level training and internship) in the state of Massachusetts.
Currently resides in Massachusetts.
Ability to work 25 client hours per week and attend regular company meetings (e.g., weekly supervision)
We are especially interested in those with the following experience:
Working with OCD populations
Couples therapy experience
Duties of the Triad Psychotherapy Psychologist include, but are not limited to:
Clinical Responsibilities (25 client hours per week minimum):
Provides psychodiagnostic assessment services, particularly in complex or challenging cases
Provides psychoeducation to patients when appropriate
Provides comprehensive, evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions for individuals who have experienced trauma, including individual, group and if applicable, couples psychotherapy
Participates in the Triad Psychotherapy clinic as a team member, engaging in collaborative problem-solving and support with colleagues to develop treatment plans, consult with clinic leadership when needed, and other tasks as appropriate to promote the team mission.
Administrative responsibilities:
Adheres to operational policies and procedures for Triad Psychotherapy
Adheres to state and national standards of care set forth by the APA and HIPAA legislation
Complies with all Simple Practice documentation procedures as outlined in the Triad Psychotherapy operations guide, including timely documentation and patient communication in the electronic health record (i.e., Simple practice)
Attends the Triad Psychotherapy monthly peer consultation meetings
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Completed PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Massachusetts
Is able to work as part of a team of clinicians
Ability to provide psychotherapy in English
Experience working with trauma-exposed individuals
Experience working with diverse populations
Is willing to submit to a background check
