    Dr. Dean is an expert in multicultural counseling and Co-Owner of Triad Psychotherapy. Dr. Dean has trained at Louisiana State University, Boston University, and Harvard Medical School. She has been published in leading scientific journals on topics such as substance use, mood and anxiety, and mental health care use among minoritized groups. Dr. Dean’s clinical approach is based in cultural humility and culturally adapted evidence-based practice.

    Dr. McClendon is a well-known expert in multicultural counseling and is Co-Owner of Triad Psychotherapy PC. Dr. McClendon trained at Harvard University, Washington University in St. Louis, Boston University and Harvard Medical School. They have been published in top journals on mental health disparities among minoritized populations. Dr. McClendon’s clinical focus is in individual, couples and group evidence-based psychotherapy that integrates identity and culture in sensitive and meaningful ways.

    Dr. McClendon specializes in PTSD, racialized and gender-based trauma, anxiety, personality disorders, and suicidal behavior.

Triad Psychotherapy PC offers a bi-weekly Multicultural Counseling Consultation Group. The group is a space to receive individualized case consultation from Drs. Juliette McClendon and Kimberlye Dean. Consultation focuses on culturally competent assessment, evidence-based treatment, and rapport building. Registration is limited to 4 participants per session.
