Individual Therapy
Life can be challenging, and sometimes we all need support to navigate stress, relationships, or mental health difficulties. Individual therapy provides a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while building skills to cope, heal, and thrive.
How Therapy Works
Thorough Assessment: Your therapist will ask you questions about your current life, your history, and mental health symptoms. This allows you and your therapist to identify where you are struggling and the best approach to support you.
Collaborative Approach: You and your therapist identify your treatment goals and the best strategies to meet those goals.
Evidence-Based Techniques: You will meet with your therapist regularly and engage in therapy approaches that have been shown scientifically to reduce mental health symptoms and increase positive functioning.
Practical Skills & Insight: You will learn tools to manage emotions, improve relationships, and calm your nervous system.
Termination: At a time agreed upon by you and your therapist, you will end therapy. During termination, you will reflect on your progress, identify the tools and skills you’d like to continue, and carve out areas for continued grown.
Why Consider Individual Therapy
Therapy is for anyone who wants to feel more understood, empowered, and equipped to handle life’s challenges. Whether you are facing a specific issue or simply want to grow personally, therapy provides guidance, perspective, and support in a nonjudgmental space.
