Boundaries:

What are they and how do I use them?

A Workshop with Dr. Juliette McClendon

You find it difficult to know what your boundaries are, let alone tell anyone about them. Or maybe you are so used to saying “yes” that you have a hard time saying “no,” even when you need to. Or perhaps you know you have needs but you’re not sure how to communicate them.

This workshop will provide an introduction to boundaries - how to identify them and how to voice them.

Agenda

  • Boundaries: Definitions and Myths

  • Identifying personal boundaries

  • Asserting your boundaries

  • Managing guilt and shame
